From arts and crafts workshops to tours and treasure hunts, there are plenty of activities happening that are sure to put a hop, skip and jump in the steps of Dubliners this Easter.

The Office of Public Works (OPW) hosts an eggciting series of family focused events at various locations across the city this Easter with plenty to cater for most tastes this Easter.

Farmleigh has a fantastic line up of activities for the Easter break, including children’s games on the Boathouse Lawn to Puppet and Magic shows. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of cuisines at the food and craft markets while listening to music from Blanchardstown Brass Band.

In the city centre, Dublin Castle is offering unique art and craft workshops such as the ‘Easter Rabbit Badges Workshop’ and ‘Easter Chick Cards’, while over at the National Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin, children can participate in the ‘Children Erasmus Garden’ and learn how to become an expert gardener in the process.

Charles Fort Military Fortress and Custom House Visitor Centre will host Easter hunts with specially decorated eggs, bunnies and carrots hidden for visitors to find.

In addition, the Custom House Visitor Centre is also hosting tours catering for children who wish to become experts in architecture, history and art throughout the Easter break.
