Posted 8 months ago in Pop-Up

Building on the success of previous events, the Irish Pop-up Collective (IPUC) is set to feature some of the best in Irish lifestyle brands and businesses, as they make a welcome return to the Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire, this Sunday.

The sizzling summer pop-up showcases the work of over 55 Irish brands and businesses including Little Fort Ceramics who produce miniature pottery pieces, Fussy Food Plates with their fun design plates for fussy eaters, and Culu contemporary jewellery handcrafted in Bray. Browsers can also enjoy a choice of wooden homewares handmade in Athy by Sam agus Nessa, organic bed linen & throws by Conscious Convert, and McWilliam bags from Crosshaven.

The pop-up also includes a range of fashion, homewares and beauty brands, returning with their summer collections, with stalls featuring wares from Begley & Bowie, Peelo Bags, Sock Coop and Úna Burke Leather.

This Sunday also sees the widest selection of food and drink brands ever at the pop-up. These include Bon Chocolatiers artisan chocolates handmade in Athlone, Kinsale Mead from Irelands first meadery in 200 years, Ollys Farm honey, Maharani Gin from Rebel City Distillery and Tongue Tied Hot Sauce from Cork.

Sustainability is high on the agenda for most of these businesses with many creating products from recycled materials including Kopper Kreation with homewares made from copper piping, while McWilliam bags made from old sails.

Kate Fine, who co-founded IPUC with Debbie Millington adds that Jiminy eco-friendly toys,  Bambrew bamboo reusable cups and Conscious Convert bed linen are just some of the other businesses that specialise in environmentally friendly products. “We are delighted to build on our pop-up, each time adding exciting new Irish brands and products to the lineup. Myself and Debbie work together to seek out unknown businesses and give them a platform to meet customers and sell to the public in person.

We are committed to delivering an exceptional experience for both businesses and attendees and are grateful for the vibrant positive atmosphere created at previous events.  This is a great opportunity for people to shop sustainably and support Irish businesses.”

The IPUC event is free and takes place in the Carlisle Suite at the Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire from 10am to 7pm on Sunday May 12th. FREE parking in Dun Laoghaire on Sundays.  For full details follow @irishpopupcollective
