Like Franz Ferdinand and the rest of their 2004 ilk , Bloc Party have always come up with tracks for girls to dance to. Shuffly, stilted dancing with your hair over your eyes, but dancing nonetheless. Why this gave them the idea to go all-out 90s house for this release is anyone’s guess, though. The unlovely piano chords will leave you wishing they’d return to their roots, though Kele’s lurchy, looped pleas for ‘one more chance to love you’ will make listeners want to slap his vacant indie face.
