After two albums in 2012, Hans-Peter Lindstrøm went quiet for a long time in terms of his solo releases, but a record as definitively Lindstrøm-y as It’s Alright Between Us As it Us would have felt really dull without the time to savour his absence.
This has his signature drifty, dreamy house in spades, and its dancing-forever-underneath-summer-stars feeling does provide something of a tonic for the constant caustic abrasion of having your eyes and ears open in 2017.
