The Two Worlds

[Tompkins Square]

Brigid Mae Power’s The Two Worlds is a fairytale for adults.

The marriage of her resplendent vocals with sumptuous tonal textures proffer an endearing sincerity throughout her music.

Recorded in an analogue studio, the production on these ten tracks creates a dreamlike echo on the instrumentation that conjures both an unsettling anarchism, Don’t Shut Me Up (Politely) and gorgeously sentimentality The Two Worlds.

The breadth of the arrangements make this an exceptionally accomplished record that needs to be celebrated, immediately.
