One of the most exciting guitar players in recent rock history is in Dublin next Tuesday night and we’ve got a pair of tickets to give away. Omar Rodriguez-Lopez has formed a pivotal part in legendary bands At The Drive-In and The Mars Volta and he’s bringing his own group to the Button Factory next week. Backed by Mars Volta drummer Deantoni Parks and Le Butcherettes singer Teri Gender Bender, the Texan will be playing songs from his latest solo opus, Octopus Kool Aid.
Thanks to the lovely folk at U:Mack, we have a pair of tickets that can be yours. All you have to do is show what you think is the worst cover version of any song on Youtube. Leave a link in the comments and we’ll pick our favourite on Tuesday afternoon. Don’t forget to leave an email address as well, so we know where to find you.
Here’s our suggestion.
