Two long-standing exponents of weird British anti-folk come together at the behest of Skinny Wolves for a night in the hallowed hall of the Unitarian Church. Blackshaw is one of the premier names in instrumental guitar music, with a catalogue of virtuoso playing stretching back almost ten years. Tucker has emerged from a fog of his own creation, gradually growing stronger and more confident in his song-writing with his unique baritone lighting the way. His new album Third Mouth is the highlight of his career to date. Both men share a penchant for darkness and estrangement that will no doubt be heightened dramatically in the grand quietude of the church.
