Dublin quartet The Weather Underground announce their arrival on the Irish music scene with debut EP Chronic Lateness; a 3 three track snippet that boasts a pleasing range of influences whom the teenage newcomers take pride in paying homage to. Opener ‘Ice Cream Van’ and ‘I Doubt It’ riff infectiously on early era Arctic Monkeys while standout ‘Talking To You’ fuses The Strokes with an intriguing 60s style melodic approach that permeates the whole record.
