Not one but two nights on the town for the Lunar Disko party crew this weekend. First up is the usual Friday night club in the basement of Sweeney’s on Dame Street, with the very special guests Kenny Hanlon, head honcho at Apartment Records, and Conor L from Bodytonic & POGO. Expect classic Detroit, house and disco from two of the best heads in town.
On Saturday night, the launch of the first album on Lunar Disko Records, VC-118A’s International Airlines, takes place in the Twisted Pepper. Support on the night comes from Lunar residents, Andy Doyle and Barry Donovan, and the special guest on the night is house titan Andrés.
Admission on Friday night is free and Saturday night will set you back a tenner.
