Fancy a little soulful, bass-driven house this Friday night? Look no further than Dusky at Twisted Pepper. The duo of Alfie Granger-Howell and Nick Harriman revel in the sounds of classic British soul, from garage to trip-hop to grime to house, but they manage to keep proceedings suitably up-to-date with gloriously hi-fi production. Last year’s Flo Jam EP is their most definitive statement to date, channelling a blend of two-step and house that is immediate and infectious without being overly flashy.
