The cover star of January’s issue celebrates the release of his stellar new record, Night Fiction, with a celebratory evening of tunes and good times. On the bill with Mr. Nugent and his always enjoyable Cosmos are Al KcKay (of Dick Diver, an exemplary Australian guitar pop troupe), alt-country new comers Bad Sea and DJ Daniel Fox, known for both being both a member of Girl Band and for recording Cian’s new album. Thirty Four is a café-cum-headquarters run by Home Beat founder Emmet Condon, and Thirty Four Saturdays is a series of miniature concerts that they will be hosting across February and March. The series kicked off last weekend with a performance from Come On Live Long, and this Saturday sees Wounded Healer – the new alias for Sorcha McGrath of Ships.
