Award winning landscape designer and owner of The Garden, Mark Grehan, has partnered with fashion and art photographer, Brian Teeling, on a limited run of photographic print t-shirts titled Towards A New World.
Inspired by Hanakotoba (花言葉 ), the Japanese language of flowers, there’s an understated beauty and elegance to the images adorning these t-shirts.
Looking to deconstruct the “perceived cultural notion” that flowers simply have a decorative purpose, Towards A New World “looks past the obvious and considers the emotional qualities of the bloom, with the ultimate goal to discover beauty in unusual places.”
