If you ever happen to pick up a print copy of Totally Dublin from one of our city-wide distribution outlets, then there’s a very good chance that you’re already familiar the work of Fuchsia Macaree. Her trademark illustrations have graced the pages of more issues than we care to count, adding colour and vibrant imagery to the (hopefully similarly vibrant) text of our team of writers. Of course, she also does a million brilliant things that aren’t drawing pictures of sex robots for us and her latest creation might be of particular interest to you, dear reader.

It’s A Disgrace, Joe is a zine that “celebrates” the beating heart of public debate in Ireland, Joe Duffy’s Liveline. Combining imagined moral panics with her typically effervescent illustrations, Fuchsia’s zine is a lovingly printed homage to the king of daytime radio and the uniquely passionate Irish mentality that his show brings to the fore. Or something like that.

Anyway, you can get your hands on one a physical copie of It’s A Disgrace, Joe over at Fuchsia’s webshop for just €5 (buy a few things while you’re there, we don’t pay her enough) and, if you still need convincing, check out more of her work over at http://phewsha.tumblr.com/.
