We love a good pop-up, and so we were delighted to see Kate Fine of Kate’s Sample Sale and silk scarf and accessories designer Debbie Millington collaborate to successfully bring thirty-five Irish brands and businesses together for the inaugural Christmas IRISH POP-UP COLLECTIVE this December.
Focusing on fashion, accessories, homewares and gifts, the buzzy shopping event takes place in Dun Laoghaire on Sunday December 4th, and offers a one stop shop for some of the best Irish made gifts this Christmas. Browsers can look forward to checking out work from jewellery brands Capulet & Montague and Christina Goldston, as well as fashion from Una Burke leather, Pearl Reddington knitwear and Begley and Bowie.
Keep an eye out for a great selection of beautiful work from artisans such as Signs of Power, Two Wooden Horses, Queens of Neon, Dalkey Handmade Soaps, Braw Chocolates and Corleggy Cheese, to name but a few.
Homewares also feature with brands such as Kopper Kreation, Danu Ceramics and D8 Candles and a host of others also participating.
The organisers say that they wanted to support as many contemporary Irish designers, makers and businesses as possible, by showcasing their work under one roof.
They promise a day packed with quality, colourful products, and as an added bonus, there’s also a chance to win a product from each brand in the Super Hamper draw, with proceeds going to support Acquired Brain Injury Ireland.
While this is their first Irish Pop Up Collective, plans are afoot to organise more of them in 2023. Watch this space!
The Christmas Irish Pop-Up Collective takes place in the Carlisle Suite at the Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire from 10am – 7pm on Sunday 4th December.
