“What’s not to like about a crinkly chip eating fish?
But seriously, as an advertising and commercial photographer, I am always looking for an original perspective. I’m driven by innovation, experimentation and curiosity. I love to play with colour and texture and make even the ‘ordinary’ sing out from the page.
During the lockdown I immersed myself in a largely conceptual still life photography project. I took common everyday objects and visualised them in a colourful, entertaining…and on occasion, surreal way.
The idea for this particular image arose from the simple “Fish & Chips” dinner and looking for a humorous alternative interpretation.”
