We are beyond thrilled to see stylist and long-time pal of the mag Kieran Kilgannon selected as one of the 50 most innovative and inspiring young creative talents playing a crucial role in the fashion industry. New Wave: Creatives is a prestigious annual list chosen by the British Fashion Council. He joins casting directors, set designers, make-up artists, photographers and art directors all setting the scene ablaze.
Kieran has worked on numerous fashion spreads featured in our pages which have always been imbued with his DIY aesthetic. Looking back at mails and moodboards from Kieran, they’ve always triggered the immediate commission button. “Reclusive loopy girl living in a fantasy world. Using whatever is around to create outlandish looks. Little bit funny, sad and romantic.”
Of course, it’s no surprise that even before he won this award he was appearing on the pages of this edition in relation to the Hunting the Wren shoot he did with photographer Andrew Nuding.
