“I’ve always loved photographing my nephews, they are my little muses. I had an idea to style them as grown ups for an editorial. I put together a team that I thought would be work well for this. I was a little nervous for them on the morning of the shoot, with such a big team and pressure and thought they might be shy, that wasn’t the case at all. They knew how to work the camera! Once their hair was cut and we got them styled, they transformed into confident and sassy little models!
We used my parents Poly Tunnel as a location and to shelter from torrential rain. The tunnel is a place I know very well. I understand the light from spending so much time in there. The team really came together last minute on the day to bring this idea to life. Topi worked so hard to put the looks together and was incredibly patient with 3 hyper kids! Zoe worked her magic on set and has this incredible eye for detail. Aaron is at the top of his game and done such a classic slick hairstyle on the boys. Dee worked closely on the edit and made sure all the colors were popping.
