If you want to have fun and enjoy a night out after a tiring day, Dublin has a lot to offer. There are clubs all over the city where you can go on your own or with friends, but as you might expect, some are more popular than others and offer more potential for a memorable experience. To help you save time and avoid making the wrong choices, we’ve compiled a list using our impressions and sources such as Yelp and TripAdvisor: if you can’t decide where to go tonight, we highly recommend you take a look.
Don’t forget you can have a good time without leaving your home too. For example, you can visit the Roulette77 platform to learn more about this game and get a head start on spinning the wheel by checking out bonuses for UK roulette players. Whatever you decide to do, we wish you a pleasant time!

Dicey’s Garden
Address | 21-25 Harcourt Street, Saint Kevin’s, D02 YF24 |
Hours | 20:00 (PM) – 02:00 (AM) |
Dicey’s Garden is located on the busiest street in the city center so you might have already seen it. It’s one of the best-known pubs in Dublin and one of the most frequented by tourists (if you meet an American, don’t forget to recommend that them visit the US version of Roulette77!) Here, you can find the following:
- A beer garden. This is an award-winning garden for its design and can be used in all seasons.
- Low prices. You’ll probably find the cheapest pint here – prices can be as low as 3 EUR.
- Live music. There’s a DJ seven days a week, and the 20+ big screen TVs surrounding the entire pub always broadcast a sporting event.
There are also three private rooms that you can rent out with friends if you want to have some fun on your own.
Pygmalion
Address | 59 South William Street, Dublin 2 |
Hours | 16:00 (PM) – 03:00 (AM) |
If you are looking for a more “trendy” club, Pygmalion is a good choice. But don’t go here to chat, as Pygmalion is known for having one of the best sound systems in Dublin, and the music never stops throughout the night. You can dance until dawn and end the night by ordering a pizza – this place is famous for its Italian pizza and has won the “Best Pizzeria in Ireland” award twice. There are also frequent double-drink events, so if you go at the right time, you’ll spend less money.
Fibber Magee’s
Address | 80-81 Parnell Street, Rotunda, D01 CK74 |
Hours | 12:00 (PM) – 02:30 (AM) |
If you like rock music, this is the club to go to. Fibber Magee’s is known as one of the best rock & punk clubs in Dublin and almost every night a different local band performs. There is a wide variety from classic rock to metal music, so you can always listen to something different. The lower floor of the club is reserved for events and can be rented. There is also a beer garden here, but unlike Dicey’s, it is not open all seasons, only in spring and summer.
The Temple Bar & Pub
Address | 47-48 Temple Bar, D02 N725 |
Hours | 10:30 (AM) – 02:30 (AM) |
This is one of the oldest pubs in Dublin (opened in 1840) and the first place almost every tourist visits. Don’t let the fact that it’s a tourist attraction stop you from visiting, as you can still enjoy a night of live music that won’t stop you from chatting. Bands play traditional Irish music every night, and if you’re a whisky lover, you’ll find an incredible variety: some of the whiskies are not available anywhere else. Temple Bar’s sandwich menu is also impressive – they claim to have the largest pub sandwich menu in the world. You can have a pleasant time alone or with friends in a cozy atmosphere.
The Sugar Club
Address | 8 Leeson Street Lower, Saint Kevin’s, D02 ET97 |
Hours | 18:00 (PM) – 03:00 (AM) |
This is a good choice for those looking for more than just drinks and dancing. Sugar Club offers both, but it also offers live entertainment. Its event calendar is quite diverse: one night, a local comedian might perform; the next night, you can watch a movie screening. Another night, you might find a “throat singing” group taking stage. For example, as we were writing this article, a group called “Huun Huur Tru” was preparing to perform. Recommended multiple times by The Irish Times and the New York Times, this club caters to those looking for different entertainment options.
Remember that this list only includes selections to help you get started: Dublin is a city where you can find a different entertainment option around every corner. If you are not afraid to try new things, you can make a different unforgettable memory every night.
