“The inspiration for this collection started in NYC after visiting an exhibition celebrating 50 years of hip-hop, going back to [my] design routes and also heavily influenced by the French romantic artist Delacroix.”
This new collection follows Orla Langan‘s deconstructed, tailored, asymmetric aesthetic, as well as reimagining signature pieces from her previous work.
With pieces that vary from sculptural to draped, or with tailored colour blocking techniques and details combining materials such as signature organic denims, sanded twills, canvas, jersey’s, lyocell, faux leather with pretty seer sucker baby blue stripes transcending a workwear, utility twist.
As part of the collection Orla has collaborated with wildlife artist, Raymond Farrelly – merging three elements, sustainability, bird conservation, and collegic inspired fashion of the 90’s hip hop.
Ola Langan is stocked at Om Diva, Drury Street, Dublin, and is available via website and Instagram channels.
