Your creative highlight of 2018?

A personal highlight this year was the Venice Architecture Biennale curated by Shelley and Yvonne of Grafton Architects. It was a proud moment for Ireland, for architecture and for women.

 

Your personal creative goal for 2019?

A personal creative goal next year would be to just take that chance and be fearless!

 

You get to redesign or reimagine Dublin in 1 way, what would you do?

Enact the ideas identified by Dublin City Council’s Reimagine Dublin One Laneways project. Sean Harrington has just published a great report outlining all the possibilities in short term, medium term and long term.

 

How would you describe the Dublin of your dreams, in 18 words or less?

Open, inclusive and ever more creative

David Leech, Architect, recently won the House Award for Completed Buildings for A house in a garden at the World Architecture Festival.
