“I love it as it is, just wish there was more sunshine” –  Andrea Arice Motion Designer/ Creative Director

Your creative highlight of 2018?

2018  was a great year for creative projects. One of the “jaw-dropping” projects that I loved was Welcome Home by Spike Jonze, It’s a perfect example of when great music and amazing visuals come together and make something special.

CGI speaking, “AWAKEN AKIRA” by Ash Thorp and Zaoeyo, was amazing. I love their tribute project and that they are driven and inspired by the love for someone else’s Art.

Your personal creative goal for 2019?

I want to finish a really exciting personal project I’ve been working on for some time, and then, perhaps, I can find time to have a social life!

You get to redesign or reimagine Dublin in one way, what would you do?

Think green. Less traffic, more cycle lanes, and perhaps the big plaza they had planned for College Green

How would you describe the Dublin of your dreams, in 18 words or less?

I love it as it is, just wish there was more sunshine….and less rain!

Three of your local creative heroes, people who people need to know about.

Kevin McLoughlin with his recent collaboration with Max Cooper, the director Carol Freeman with her animation short, The Bird and The Whale and the illustrator Ale Mercado.
