The Darklight Festival is back next month – it’s being rebooted, we should say – and running from April 24 to 27 in and around Smithfield Square.
The full line-up is yet to be announced but a little birdie tells us in TD that there’s lot more to be announced. For moment you’ll have to make so with these highlights:
- The Act of Killing (Director’s Cut)
- A Spell To Ward off the Darkness
- Mozilla Hackday @ Block T
- Generator Party w/ Forza Italo (AV set)/Simon Bird (Live soundtrack) & more
- FilmFour’s commissioning editor Anna Higgs in conversation
- .GIF exhibition @ the Bernard Shaw & Lighthouse Cinema
But to make all their crazy dreams come true, they need the public’s help in raising some sweet moolah. We’re planning lots of coverage on the exciting stuff coming to Darklight in the April issue of TD, but in the meantime, please help out if you can by going here: fundit.ie/Darklight-Festival
