The count down is on, and we’re just days away from the start of this year’s innovative Dublin Bowie Festival. As always there’s a cracking lineup of eclectic, innovative and fun events to look forward to, inspired by the man himself, the late great Mr. David Bowie.
This year’s programme celebrates the 50th anniversary of the release of The Man Who Sold The World, and what better way to mark this auspicious occasion than in the company of two of those who worked so closely with the iconic musical genius throughout his career.
Get Face To Face With The Men who Sold the World, as Tony Visconti and Woody Woodmansey settle back for a chat on the closing day of the festival. Visconti is the producer most associated with Bowie, working on such seminal albums as the Berlin Trilogy and Blackstar, while Woodmansey is a drummer best known for his work in the early 1970s as a member of David Bowie‘s core backing ensemble the Spiders from Mars following the release of Bowie’s 1972 LP The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.
