Belfast International Arts Festival returns from 16 October – 26 November with over 170 events taking place across the city, showcasing the best local and international theatre, music, visual arts, film and literature.

THE PRIZE

ABOUT NORTH STAR
North Star is an immersive live performance, inspired by the historic speech given by writer and abolitionist, Frederick Douglass in Belfast in 1845.
This spectacular showcase of music, art, and literature features Grammy award-winner Kaidi Tatham, poet Nandi Jola, rising stars Leo Miyagee and Winnie Ama, the Arco String Quartet, PVN Gospel Choir, special guests Hannah Peel and Colin Salmon, and pupils from four Belfast schools.
North Star was commissioned as part of Belfast 2024, a year-long cultural celebration made by the people of Belfast.
