We’ve got a pair of tickets to give away to EACH one of the AbsolutDIY workshops that are running around the city in the lead-up to OFFSET 2015 at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre on March 6th to 8th.
Each of the events are already fully-booked – so if you want to win a ticket for any of them, what you got to do is leave a comment with the name of the event you want to go to ASK, DRAW, MAKE, PHOTO, PRINT or STENCIL.
We will pick winners on Monday afternoon for the first event, MAKE, which is on Tuesday evening, and continue in that fashion, picking the winners the day before. Details of each of the #AbsolutDIY OFFSET workshops are below.

Angela Cuthill of Arty Smarty kicks of AbsolutDIY series of OFFSET events where she will detail the process jewellery company Arty Smarty for those looking to put their translate their own creative style to the jewellery game.

Olga Kuzmenko begins the AbsolutDIY series of OFFSET events with a workshop on how to get the best live music snaps. Olga’s CV includes big hitters like Arcade Fire and Franz Ferdinand. Music and modelling on the night will be supplied by Faune.

A chance to pick the brains of some of Dublin’s curators, publishers, performers and promoters who are making things happen in the city with a DIY attitude. Appearing will be: Sinead Bailey Kelly & Deirdre Young of Hunt & Gather, Roisin Agnew of GUTS magazine (and our own venerable pages), Kim Willoughby of Damn Fine Print and Sharon Greene of Queens of Neon.

One of Ireland’s most established street artists ADW will create and produce a large scale permanent piece of art with the help of the attendees to the workshop at this AbsolutDIY workshop in the Shaw.
Monday 2nd March | The Drury Buildings
Monoprint with Steve Doogan
Drury Buildings will host former artist (and OFFSET mainstage speaker) Steve Doogan as he gives a presentation on his print-based illustration and artworkfollowed by a demonstration of his style of portraiture and how to quickly capture more than just a likeness using Mono Print as the medium.

Graphic Novel Cover workshop with Declan Shalvey
The last of the AbsolutDIY workshops is with Irish comic book artist Declan Shalvey who’s illustrated for Marvel Comics, which makes him some kind of hero. One of the best in the business will be giving pointers and attendees can take home their very own comic book cover in an archival protective graphic novel bag.
