Roadmap: Opera in The Open

Opera in the Open will celebrate its 25th year of performances throughout the last four Thursdays this month. Hosted at the Dublin City Council’s Civic Office Amphitheater, attendance is free of charge and all are encouraged to bring cushions, blankets and camping chairs, for additional comfort if desired.

The series commenced on 8th August with Faust by Charles Gounod, and continues on the 15th with Hansel and Gretel by Engelbert Humperdinck and the 22nd with Arthur Sullivan’s Cox and Box and finishes on the 29th August with Puccini’s Gala, marking the 100th anniversary of the composer’s death.

1pm starts so bring that picnic!
