Roadmap: After Eight

Posted 9 months ago in Gig

After Eight is a new early club night in Dublin where the dancing starts at 8pm and finishes at midnight.

Icelandic-Irish founder Giita Hammond began the night in Reykjavik last year, and has now brought it to Dublin as a monthly gathering in the intimate basement of Pawn Shop on Dame Street.

The new venture is inspired by 12 Sundays, an early club night Giita used to go to in the old Bernard Shaw in Portobello where the best DJs from home and abroad would play until midnight, and also by the early club nights organised by Annie Mac. She loved the idea of dancing your socks off, then going home early, or continue partying! Expect pumping electro synth bangers, techno, Italo, house and disco and a very sweaty dance floor.

8pm – midnight, Saturday April 13th, Pawn Shop, 15 Dame Street, Dublin 2.

Free entry, donate to Palestine, Doctors Without Borders.
