Hunting Down The Haggis – Burns Night at L Mulligan in Stoneybatter

Posted 11 months ago in Food and Drink

Address a Haggis, raise a glass to a Mouse, and enjoy a terrific four course supper paired with drinks as L Mulligan‘s well established annual homage to Scottish poet ‘Rabbie Burns’ rocks into its fourteenth year.

The lively celebration of all things Caledonian features the classic Burns Night centrepieces – traditional Haggis, Neeps, Tatties, and bagpipes – followed by a cracking night’s entertainment in the form of some rousing poetry and that all important Address to a Haggis.

Also on the menu is a welcoming Ginger Punch with Apple and Irn Bru Sherbet, hearty Scotch Eggs, and delicious Cockaleelie Soup accompanied by a tasty Tattie and Caledonian Cheddar Cheese Scone.

With scran and swally galore, the evening’s celebrations round off with a Toast to The Lassies, and a very fine dram of Robbie Burns Whiskey.

Interested parties take note – the perenially popular event at the hospitable Stoneybatter establishment traditionally sells out quickly, so you’ll need to be quick if you want to bag a suppertime spot here on the big day, which coincidentally marks the 265th birthday of Scotland’s most famous bard.

Kilts and Tam oShanters optional.

Tickets: €65pp. For bookings email table@lmulligangrocer.com

Burns Night takes place on Thursday January 25th.
