Forty-four local restaurants from Dublin have been shortlisted for this year’s Deliveroo Restaurant Awards, celebrating the best and most loved local restaurants up and down the country.
From local independent burger joints to neighbourhood sushi restaurants and all the dishes and flavours in between, some of Dublin’s finest have been shortlisted for several accolades. These range across categories from Best Middle Eastern to Best Pizza and of course the ultimate prize – the highly coveted Independent Restaurant of the Year award.
The city’s food lovers may recall that this award was won last year by popular Dublin Greek specialists, Yeeros. 2025 sees a host of restaurants across Ireland and the UK vying to follow in their footsteps, with Sprout and Co., Pi Dublin, and Fired Up Wood Fired Pizza all in contention.
This year that prestigious category is judged by Celebrity Masterchef finalist Tilly Ramsay, alongside a panel of experts including Deliveroo’s CEO and Founder Will Shu and food critic, Jimi Famurewa.
In addition, this year’s awards feature the introduction of a number of tasty new categories including Lifetime Achievement, Changing the Game, Role Model and Rising Star. Longtime city centre stalwarts such as M&L Szechuan Chinese Restaurant, DASH Burger, Zaytoon, Pablo Picante and Mad Egg also feature on the list in their individual food categories.
With such high quality names dominating the short list, competition is expected to be stiff. Dublin food fans can cast votes here to back their favourite restaurants until May 9th, with all customers that vote automatically entered into a draw to win €150 in-app credit.

Takeaway fans can cast their vote for Ireland and the UK’s most loved restaurants in their local area at deliveroorestaurantawards.com until May 9th 2025, with voting closing at 11:59pm that day. Customers who vote will be automatically entered into a draw to win €150 in Deliveroo credit.
The winners of the Deliveroo 2025 Restaurant Awards will be announced via Deliveroo’s social channels on May 28th 2025.
