A new culinary-literary salon opens its first chapter this month in the charming surroundings of the basement Banquet Hall at the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA).
The brainchild of Mary Kilduff, the Cookbook Club event series is a monthly food series that sees the creative producer join forces with Blasta Books, Nine Bean Rows, and Camerino Bakery, for an evening of food and relaxation focused on recipes from a pre-selected cook book.
The first ‘Cookbook Club Pick’ is Wok by Chef Kwanghi Chan, who’ll be on hand to share some great insider tips from his debut work to help diners recreate dishes at home with ease.
In addition to savouring dishes based on the chosen tome, which doubles as the menu, diners can also look forward to an informative Q & A session with the author.
The inaugural event takes place at IMMA on April 29th, and guests also get to take home a copy of the book as a souvenir. BYOB or order from the on-site wine bar.
Tickets go on sale on Wednesday April 3rd.
We can’t wait!
