‘Tis the season for Irish Cream Liqueurs! We all know the whiskey ones but now one of Ireland’s favourite Poitin producers Micil has unleashed their limited edition poitin Irish cream.
Last year it won Best Irish Cream at the 2022 World Liqueur Award so you know it’s going to be good.
Micil Distillery has been making spirits for about 170 years, though not always legally. Run by Pádraic and Jimín Ó Griallais, direct descendants of Micil Mac Chearra, it continues Ireland’s longest unbroken family distilling tradition.
