At Airfield Estate, the emphasis is very much on sustainability as their team of busy elves get set to welcome visitors to The 2022 Christmas Experience there this year.
The inviting seasonal experience features a visit for little ones to Ledgewood Cottage Library and Santa’s Express Postbox, a spin or two on the vintage carousel, and a section of special gifts in a reusable calico bag.
There’s also warming chocolate Jersey Milk, and tasters of Jersey Milk Plum Pudding ice-cream, with spiced mulled wine for the adults. ASD friendly sessions and a session guided by Irish Sign Language Interpreters for those who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing are also available.
Airfield Estate also hosts the Ethical Christmas Market during the month of December. The market supports social enterprises and small, local businesses, and features stall holders including We Make Good, eco toy store Jiminy, and Stephen Tierney Ceramics. Entrance to the market is free and opening hours are as follows:
