Dublin’s barkeepers are invited to dust off their creative flair and take a shot at the 2025 Jameson Black Barrel Bartenders Series Competition. The prestigious contest offers entrants an opportunity to showcase their love for their community, while using their skill and acumen to devise a world-beating cocktail. Winners get bragging rights to one of three coveted Global Champion spots, with a prize of €5,000 each, but first off, they have to serve up a compelling application to get through the gruelling regional stages.
To enter, bartenders are encouraged to create a Jameson Black Barrell cocktail inspired by their locality, accompanied by a short 30-60 second video posted to their Instagram page, paying special attention to the ingredients, techniques, places, people, and crafts that make them passionate about their community. That done, they simply need to complete the entry form and let the judges take it from there.
Regional winners will enjoy an all-expenses paid trip to the Jameson Hosts Summit in September, where they’ll be battling it out for global recognition and mixing things up with their peers from the rest of the world. The competition will be adjudicated by the illustrious judging panel of Millie Tang, Daniel Vevsky, and Claudia Cabrera, and submissions close on February 17th.
