The Root + Bone brigade are entering into the swish, gargle and spit territory with Root + Vine, a sister publication.
They look at the life of a cork puller, explore the world of criticism and have created a wine mixtape by their guest writers who include Trevor Gulliver, CEO of landmark London restaurant St John who says Root + Vine is “a gift for folk who love an adjective but would never make a foreign correspondent, it can be the metier of snake oil merchants and ‘look at me lifestylists’ but beyond that wine is happily and ancient and everyday pleasure.”
Kilkenny man and ex-TD photographer Steve Ryan remains part of the core crew.
