Pull Up A Pew: Brigit’s Table With Ali Dunworth and Santina Kennedy

This coming Bank Holiday Monday sees innovative food writers and creatives Ali Dunworth and Santina Kennedy join forces for Brigit’s Table, a very special food and drink pop-up event celebrating women’s heritage through culinary arts.

Taking place as part of the day-long Imbolc Fair festivities in Meeting House Square, Brigit’s Table is a unique talk and tasting pop-up experience celebrating Imbolc and Brigit’s many food and drink connections.

From sacred cows and spring lambs to nettles and craft beers, there are many food and drink stories associated with the legendary Brigit. The city’s food lovers are invited to join Ali and Santina as they explore some of these fascinating tales, while the packed afternoon also features a chance to sample a fine array of delicious tasters from some of Ireland’s finest artisan food and drink producers.

This promises to be a really lovely afternoon, so early booking is strongly recommended. Tickets for Brigit’s Table are available here. They cost €5 with bookable spaces for tasting talks on the hour.

This exciting culinary event is part of the broader Brigit Festival, which celebrates women’s contributions to culture, society, and history. With over ninety events scheduled from January 31st to February 3rd, many taking place across the city, the festival promises a vibrant array of activities honouring the legacy of Brigit.

Brigit’s Table hosted by Ali Dunworth and Santina Kennedy takes place at the Imbolc Fair at Meeting House Square, Dublin on Bank Holiday Monday, February 3rd, from 12.00pm to 4.30pm. Tickets available here.
