As events in the city begin to open up again, it’s great to see theatres raising the curtain, rescheduling dates and announcing new shows.
In Dublin’s Grand Canal Dock, Bord Gáis Energy Theatre recently unveiled a seasonal programme of popular stage productions, and the hospitable folk at nearby Charlotte Quay have devised a beautiful new Pre-Theatre menu to celebrate.
They’re tempting theatre-goers to make an evening of it over a bite or two, with delicious dishes including a gorgeous starter of Burrata, Pumpkin, Prunes, Pedro X Vinegar, Pumpkin Seed and Evoo. In a considerate gesture, time-strapped diners are invited to enjoy the first part of their meal before the show, and come back afterwards to digest proceedings over dessert and coffee or a drink.
The Pre-Theatre Menu is available between 5pm and 7pm, two courses €32 or three Courses €38.
The popular waterside restaurant also offers dinner and a selection of generous sharing plates from Tuesday – Sunday, with weekend brunch options available until 3.30pm. For bookings and further details see info@charlottequay.ie
