Tucked away between Chancery Street and Ship Street Great in Dublin 8, Old Town Wine Bar is an inviting new wood panelled space that makes for a contemporary new addition to one of Dublin’s most historic districts.
Featuring comfy leather couches and booths, elegant chairs around marble-topped tables, with some outdoor seating available under heated umbrellas, the new spot offers an extensive choice of over seventy wines, with well over half available by the glass.
Each can be nicely complemented by a substantial small plates menu, with dishes carefully selected to bring out the best in each glass. Offerings range from Croquettes to Dingle Bay Crab Rolls, Gildas, Confit Skeaghanore Duck and Braised Hereford Beef.
Open Wednesday to Saturday from noon until 11pm, the menu is available all day from midday, with a lovely express lunch option on offer from 12-3pm.
Food is served until 9.45pm.
