Green Beards first opened their doors in May 2014 on Dunville Avenue, Ranelagh and since then they have developed a unique menu including cold-pressed juices, vegan and vegetarian salads and soups and dairy free superfood smoothies. Their growing selection of offerings also includes fermented options – all created and made in-house daily.
Co-founders Ray O’Hara and Kevin Johnstone developed Green Beards with one simple goal: to offer a delicious way of integrating plant-based health into a busy lifestyle. Green Beards’ principle focus is to create hand-crafted products with careful regard for organic growing practices, seasonal harvests, local suppliers and recyclable materials.
The cold-pressed juice bar and fresh food brand offers affordable, convenient and nutrient-rich options for health conscious Dubliners and juices are made using the cold-press technique that has revolutionised the juicing scene. By squeezing the juice from the vegetables using hydraulic pressure to minimize enzyme damage, heat and oxygen levels are reduced, leaving the deliciously fresh raw vegetable juice.
In particular ginger based shots such as the ‘Rollercoaster’ and ‘Fireball’ pack a nutritious punch – the ultimate fix after a Christmas night out!
All Green Beards’ juices, salads and soups come in a glass jar which is both sustainable and keeps the product extra fresh.
Their delicious menu can be ordered straight to your desk through Deliveroo, making it simple to literally drink (and eat!) to your health with Green Beards.
Having just opened a second shop on Morehampton Road, Donnybrook, Green Beards are fast becoming a compelling destination for healthy Dubliners in search of their morning wheatgrass shots or delicious freshly made cacao energy balls.
