Believe it or not it’s officially Irish Summer Time, even if the weather seems to be struggling a little with the memo. That said, we’re looking forward to the unofficial start of festival season at Happy Days over the May Bank Holiday weekend, as Rascal’s host the fourth iteration of their popular homage to Beer and Food.
This year’s guest brewers include Belfast based Bullhouse Brewing Co., Mad Scientist from Budapest, and a trio of breweries from New York, alongside local representation from Hope Beer, O Brother Brewing, and neighbouring Stillgarden Distillery.
Sustenance comes in the form of home-cooked pizzas from the hosts, and food trucks such as Dot’s Homemade Hot Dogs, Bites by Kwanghi and platefuls of meaty joy from Pitt Bros.
Dance it all off to great tunes from musical maestros including Rev. Tony Bones, Paula Lahiff, and Kelly Ann Byrne. Tickets costing €23 (+booking fees) include access all areas, a reusable pint cup, and the prospect of a free brewery tour, subject to availability.
Happy Days takes place on Saturday May 4th and Sunday May 5th, Rascals Brewery in Inchicore.
