The recent advent of ripened avocado halves from frozen food specialists Strong Roots offers a surprisingly neat solution to that particular conundrum, even if it does ruin the joke.

Strong Roots have followed up their launch earlier this year by quietly growing their collection which now includes Oven Baked Sweet Potatoes, Kale & Quinoa burgers and Garlic Roasted Sweet Potato.
