If you thought the last thing the city needed was another chicken burger joint, then perhaps a sneak peek at Spatched, the latest incredible offering from the folks who brought you Sprezzatura, might just change your mind.
Following weeks of tweaks and experiments in their test kitchen, a soft launch earlier this month saw them sell out of their entire evening stock in less than an hour, leaving the lucky denizens of Rathmines hungry for more.
Their initial menu leads with a ‘Bun’ offering, comprising a delicious Potato Bun with Boneless Thigh, Lettuce, Pickles, Spatched Sauce and Crispy Onions dipped in a choice of three different glazes.
Choose from Dry Fry with Gravy, Spatched Classic or Spatched Trufflo, then cast an eye over an extensive list of tasty add-ons such as Smashed Scratchings, Guacamole and Jane Russell Sausage Patty.
There are also classic free range chicken pieces and an appealing selection of fries, sauces and sides including a delightful Peanut Chilli Slaw.
And keep an eye out for their lush Carbonara Fries, which are quite simply a work of genius.
