The previously underrated Dublin 8 neighbourhood is in vogue at the moment. Having recently opened a new Indian spot, Kari and now home to a new whiskey speciality bar: The Devil’s Cut. Opening on Emmet Street, this bar hit the ground running with the kind of whiskey list that would make nerds evangelise, and the whiskey curious feel at home.
Their Instagram even teased the Redbreast Dream Cask Sherry finish by the glass, a whiskey that even the millions of the richest couldn’t pry from the hands of its devoted collectors. The Devil’s Cut have a selection of well-derived cocktails and craft beers for the whiskey averse too, and the Guinness is cheap.
