Solidarity and love to our friends at Love Tempo who are busy salvaging what they can following the ravages of an unexpected fire at their premises on Thomas Street last month.
While nobody was hurt, it looks like the music-led neighbourhood bar will sadly be closed for some time. As they so nicely put it, love and time are all we have, so we’ll be keeping an eye on their socials for updates and we look forward to seeing them rise from the ashes once the assessors have done their job.
Meanwhile El Milagro, purveyors of some of the city’s finest tacos, who had been running the kitchen at Love Tempo, temporarily relocated to Rascals in Inchicore, who kindly made their space available to them in the aftermath of the fire last month.
They’re currently enjoying an extended residency there, while the Saturday of the May Bank Holiday weekend sees them pop up at Spade Enterprise Centre to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
The day-long festivities centre on culture, food, and community for what promises to be a great day of celebrations with some of the best local Mexican businesses in the city.
