What’s the new new? Surely Aperol Spritz has had its summer in the sun. We recently had the pleasure of sitting down for a meal in Hen’s Teeth in the company of some of the Italian team behind Cafe Vergnano and talk turned to what we should be looking out for. Apparently, it’s Amaro del Capo, an Italian liquor from the heart of Calabria to be enjoyed ice cold.

It’s made from 29 herbs, flowers, fruits and roots, including bitter orange and sweet orange peel, liquorice, mandarin, camomile and juniper infused in alcohol.

We’ve been looking out for where we might pick up a bottle here but alas with little luck so far. Do let us know if you know.
