In April, Bar 1661 secured its spot among Europe’s elite, earning recognition at the Spirited Awards for its exceptional bar team.
The Spirited Awards are brought to you by the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation. They’re like the Oscars of the bar scene, giving props to the best of the best in the international drinking game. Think of it as a global celebration of all things booze.
Bar 1661 is up there with Dublin’s best cocktail bars. Between their relationship with The Dead Rabbit and Gothenburg, Sweden, it’s no surprise that they have landed in the same stratosphere as them. It’s only surprising that it took so long.
Now that we officially have a bar rubbing shoulders with the best in Barcelona, Berlin, and London, it’s safe to say Dublin has a world-class bar in Bar 1661.
