Take one delicious Double Smash Cheeseburger from Dash Burger, baste it with Shiitake Miso Butter prepared in the kitchen of Allta Restaurant, and team it with a draught of zesty, refreshing, contemporary style IPA from O’Hara’s. The result? A crowd pleasing signature food pairing that succeeded in knocking it out of the park at last month’s inaugural Food and Drink Month festival, organised by Great Irish Beverages.
Dash Burger’s tasty signature offering secured victory in the public vote for best Irish Food and Drink Pairing, beating off stiff competition from over 140 participating gastro pubs, Michelin star winners, local restaurants and hotels.
As part of the prize for their winning Irish Food & Drink Pairing, a proud Barry Wallace of Dash Burger nominated Irish Charity, Dublin Simon Community to receive a €1,000 donation sponsored by Great Irish Beverages.
A taste of the winning pairing, featuring an aged 100% Irish Beef mix from McLoughlin Butchers, Irish potato buns from Coughlan’s Bakery, and cheese from Kerrymaid, can be enjoyed at both Dash Burger’s restaurants, located at Capel Street and Kevin Street respectively.
