Le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrivé in Dublin! On November 20th 2014, the arrival of a red wine made from the Gamay grape produced in the Beaujolais region of France. Medium red in colour, with a refreshing and fruity taste, it is the most well-known vin de primeur, fermented for just a few weeks before being released for sale on the third Thursday of each November. On this occasion, you will taste the first wine of the season, accompanied by a plate of cheese and charcuterie. Our guest of honour, Patrick Thévenet, wine producer from the Domaine des Gandelins, will present and explain all that you need to know about wine-tasting. Entry includes a plate of charcuterie and cheese with a glass of Beaujolais Nouveau. The price is €12 for members of the Alliance, and €15 for non-members.
