Ray Winstone is re-cast as the jilted, barrell-chested Cockney gangster of the film’s title who, following the discovery of his wife’s infidelity, calls upon various colleagues of ill-repute from London’s criminal underworld to assist him in seeking retribution and to restore his deflated ego. While planning the kidnap and torture of his wife’s French lover, Colin suffers a sudden attack of conscience and a vigorous debate ensues that will determine the fate of his unfortunate hostage.
