A guided tour that sheds a new and fascinating light on some of the most central figures in Dublin’s political and cultural history, who people may not have known were gay. The tour shones a spotlight on a huge part of our heritage that shamefully often goes ignored,through taking in some of the most beautiful and interesting places in the city while uncovering their obscure queer history.
Starting at the Oscar Wilde statue at Merrion Square and ending at Dublin Castle, Alternative Dublin have collaborated with writer Sean Egan to devise a tour that promises to be enlightening, enjoyable and informative for all.
