The third annual ‘Irish Body Paint Festival’ returns. The Festival will host a selection of amazing performances, competitions, photography and retail. There will also be two body paint and face paint workshops on the Friday and Saturday of the Festival. These workshops will be led by various artists such as Limerick native Maria Malone Guerba. She will be holding a workshop in Animal Character Transformation. The London based artist rose to fame through social media by creating original character face paint looks that were unseen before. The second workshop is in creative body paint, hosted by Yvonne Zonnenburg. Yvonne ranks within the top 10 body painters of the world and is attending the festival for a one day workshop in creative body painting.
On the Sunday a body paint competition will be held. The theme of this years competition is zodiac magic. The competition is open to everyone. There is both a student and regular category. All levels will compete alongside each other to see who can capture the imagination of the judges, and execute their interpretation of the theme to the fullest.
